Former Ohio State football linebacker K'Vaughan Pope to transfer to Tennessee State

Former Ohio State linebacker K’Vaughan Pope is transferring to Tennessee State, he announced on social media on Friday. Pope has been in the NCAA transfer portal for the last six months since being dismissed from the team early last season. In the Buckeyes’ non-conference win over Akron in late September, he got into a heated exchange with coaches and teammates on the sideline and was escorted to the locker room by a team official following the outburst. Heading to Tennessee State, a Football Championship Subdivision program in Nashville, he will be coached by Eddie George, a former Heisman Trophy-winning running back at Ohio State who is entering his second season leading the Tigers’ program.
