E.J. Liddell gave Ohio State fans three outstanding years of basketball. He played at a high level and left everything he had on the floor for his teammates, coaches, and fans. Since the season’s end, Liddell has been racking up conference and national awards. On Thursday, Liddell was honored as a third-team All-American by CBS Sports. Writers from CBS had high praise for the Buckeye forward. “Liddell served as one of college hoops’ biggest matchup problems, shooting 37.4% from 3-point range, scoring 19.4 points per game, both career-highs, while also hitting career-high numbers in rebounds (7.9), assists (2.5) and blocks (2.6) per game.” Liddell was the only Buckeye to make the list, but there were several other Big Ten standouts who joined him.
