Former Ohio State football player Malcolm Jenkins retires after 13-year NFL career

Mandatory Credit: Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports After 13 NFL seasons during which he won two Super Bowls, safety Malcolm Jenkins has announced his retirement. The New Orleans Saints selected Jenkins in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft following a standout career at Ohio State. As a Buckeye, Jenkins was a Jim Thorpe Award winner and consensus All-American. He never lost to Michigan (4-0), twice played in the national championship game, and served as a team captain his senior season. Jenkins had 11 interceptions and 196 career tackles.
