The New Orleans Saints selected Jenkins in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft following a standout career at Ohio State. As a Buckeye, Jenkins was a Jim Thorpe Award winner and consensus All-American. He never lost to Michigan (4-0), twice played in the national championship game, and served as a team captain his senior season. Jenkins had 11 interceptions and 196 career tackles.
