Dante Moore, Carnell Tate headline Ohio State football’s 5-star weekend: Buckeyes Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — As the Ohio State football team continues to work through its 15-practice schedule for the spring, the program shifts some focus toward recruiting efforts. The start of March meant bringing targets back on campus to attend practices and go on unofficial visits. Plenty of players have already made their way to Columbus, but the Buckeyes will host a handful of high-profile names at the top of their board this weekend. Their 2023 recruiting class holds five commits, one of which will be making his first post-commit visit in Cedrick Hawkins. The four-star recruit is the nation’s No. 235 player and No. 22 safety, joining the class on New Year’s Day while OSU was in the middle of a comeback win over Utah in the Rose Bowl.
