COLUMBUS, Ohio — It makes sense that Cade Stover, as much as he loves playing defense, would look at Ohio State football’s linebacker depth chart and see a brighter future back at tight end. It still came as a slight surprise to see him back on that side of the ball as early as the Buckeyes’ sixth practice of the spring. Stover played the position all of last season heading into the Rose Bowl. He immediately jumps back to the top of the depth chart at a position both coach Ryan Day and offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson insist is critical to OSU’s rushing attack.
