For Ohio State football fans, only two days really matter: The day the season begins, and the day the Buckeyes play the University of Michigan. Heaven help anyone who has the temerity to schedule their wedding, give birth, or die on either of those dates. It would not be an exaggeration to compare the atmosphere of a Buckeyes home game to that of a tent revival, the difference being that more people show up at the Horseshoe to genuflect at the 50-yard line.
