The Ohio State basketball team proved all the doubters wrong — including those with alliances to all things scarlet and gray. The Buckeyes went to Pittsburgh and controlled their first-round NCAA Tournament matchup with Loyola-Chicago and came out with what is hopefully a momentum-building win. It was a low scoring affair as you would expect with a matchup against a very defensive-minded Ramblers squad, but OSU was able to make enough plays on offense and play some pretty good defense in its own right to pull away in the second half and (gasp) win a game with relative ease.
