Study: Buckeye State doesn't eat enough fruit


Jan. 8—More than 90% of adult Ohioans do not eat the government-recommended amount of fruits or vegetables, and the Buckeye State fares worse than most U.S. states when it comes to healthy eating, according to a new study. Only about 9.5% of Ohio adults eat the equivalent of 1.5 to 2 cups of fruits each day, which is recommended by the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, says a new CDC study.
