Ohio State football long snapper Bradley Robinson returning for seventh season in 2022


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football long snapper Bradley Robinson announced his plan to return for a seventh season Friday with the appropriate amount of humility. Along with the standard Twitter statement thanking coaches, teammates and fans, Robinson quoted the movie Tommy Boy. “Lots of people go to school for seven years,” Robinson quoted Chris Farley’s character, Tommy Callahan, as saying. He left off the follow-up from David Spade’s character Richard: “I know. they’re called doctors.” Robinson may eventually be one of those as well. He plans to finish his master’s and begin the path towards a PhD in what will be finally be his final season in 2022. Robinson, a walk-on, was the Buckeyes’ starting long snapper the past two seasons. He began his career at Michigan State before transferring to OSU.
