COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football begins the new year with a fully stocked roster for the 2022 season. Some pending NFL Draft decisions yet to come in — and some potential roster attrition between now and the end of the spring — will determine how much room the Buckeyes have to add more players for this fall. Tanner McCalister’s addition as a transfer brought the total number of players on scholarship to 87. That does not include players who have already entered the NFL Draft, such as Chris Olave, Nicholas Petit-Frere, Tyreke Smith and Garrett Wilson. It does include those who have not yet announced their draft plans, such as Sevyn Banks and Zach Harrison.
