COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2022 recruiting class added its fourth offensive lineman in Carson Hinzman of Saint Croix Central High School in Wisconsin on Tuesday evening. The four-star recruit’s decision came down to the Buckeyes and Wisconsin with OSU winning out after multiple game-day visits this fall. He’s rated as the No. 134 player and No. 6 inside offensive lineman. This is the third commitment of the week for Ohio State. Safety Cedrick Hawkins joined the 2023 class on Saturday during the Rose Bowl while edge rusher Omari Abor joined the 2022 class on Sunday during the Under Armor All-American game. Hinzman gives Ohio State four offensive linemen, joining Avery Henry, George Fitzpatrick and Tegra Tshabola. The goal was always to add three players to Greg Studrawa’s room.
