A record-breaking day for Ohio State in Pasadena


Saturday night’s Rose Bowl was a game that many Ohio State fans didn’t know what to expect going into it. The Buckeyes lost to Michigan for the first time in nearly a decade the last time they took the field, ruining a shot at a Big Ten title or a spot in the College Football Playoff. It was a letdown, to say the least. Then, for Utah, getting a chance to play Ohio State was likely a ‘Super Bowl’-type game for them. Add in that four Buckeyes opted out of playing in the Rose Bowl in order to ensure that they would stay healthy ahead of preparing for the NFL Draft in April, and, well, everything was lining up for Utah, at least to keep it close.
