What Omari Abor’s commitment means to Ohio State football: Buckeyes Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Omari Abor of Duncanville High School in Texas has committed to Ohio State football, but his recruitment is still far from over. His decision to become the 19th member of the Buckeyes’ 2022 class just means that the program is officially in the lead. Now they’ll spend the next month making sure he signs his letter of intent on Feb. 2 while other teams attempt to make him the fifth player to eventually commit elsewhere. Abor is the nation’s No. 38 player and No. 4 edge rusher as the third top 100 defensive linemen in the class, joining Kenyatta Jackson and Caden Curry.
