Ohio State Buckeyes' fourth-quarter score not Miyan Williams, not worth nine points


It is Week 1 of the college football season if you’re willing to give a pass to FOX, but fans watching the Ohio State-Minnesota broadcast might have been confused when former Winton Woods High School standout Miyan Williams got credit for a nine-point touchdown on Buckeyes teammate TreVeyon Henderson’s 70-yard catch and run for a score in the fourth quarter. It was captured and shared in a tweet by @PerkinsPenguins: Williams, a redshirt freshman and Cincinnati native, did score OSU’s first touchdown of the game on a 71-yard run. It was Williams’ first touchdown as a Buckeye. He had 64 yards on 10 attempts over four games last season, but eclipsed the 100-yard mark as a rusher in his first game of this season.
