Mario Cristobal, Rob Mullens react to Oregon’s game at Ohio State kicking off at 9 a.m. PT

EUGENE — Oregon’s season opener is two days away but its marquee nonconference opponent, No. 4 Ohio State, opens the season tonight and will have the benefit of 36 hours extra recovery and preparation time before next week’s showdown in Columbus. © Randy L. The Buckeyes play at Minnesota tonight (5 p.m. PT, FOX) while the Ducks host Fresno State on Saturday (11 a.m., Pac-12 Network). No other matchup of preseason top 25 teams during the first three weeks of the season has teams with an unequal amount of days to prepare. Because Fresno State opened the season in Week 0, moving this week’s game at Autzen Stadium up to Thursday wasn’t possible, Mullens said. Oregon coach Mario Cristobal declined comment regarding the unequal amount of preparation time for the Week 2 matchup.…
