Ohio State football is back tomorrow vs. Minnesota’s Golden Gophers: Crowquill


CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Ohio State Buckeyes open the 2021 season Thursday night against the Minnesota Golden Gophers at Huntington Bank Stadium. The Buckeyes will be a two-touchdown favorite versus the Gophers, who are coached by P.J. Fleck. The last time these two teams met, the Buckeyes won 30-14 in Columbus. Minnesota has a strong running game with Mo Ibraham that could give the young Buckeye linebackers some problems. The Gophers running game, if successful, may also stress the Buckeye secondary by way of play-action fakes. Of course the Bucks can counter with what should be one of the most explosive offenses in the nation. OSU is loaded at wide receiver with Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson leading the way.
