COLUMBUS, Ohio — High school football season has begun across the country, which means Ohio State football recruits will mostly turn their focus back on the game instead of their recruitment. But that does not mean the Buckeyes and other schools will cease their efforts to add talent. While the class of 2022 is coming together, the class of 2023 is just getting started. In 2022, Ohio State has 14 commitments and is looking to finalize offensive line and safety positions. In 2023, the door is wide open for offensive line and defensive backs who have OSU offers. The summer of 2021 was loaded with camps, visits and everything else that comes with the recruiting process. Now, the high school season takes priority.
