COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State football team has found the first member of its 2023 recruiting class in Tennessee tight end Ty Lockwood of Independence High School. The four-star recruit chose OSU over 22 other schools, with Florida State, Penn State and South Carolina also emerging as potential destinations. Lockwood has been high on the Buckeyes ever since earning an offer in February and they quickly became a favorite. That was only enhanced when he visited over the summer, leading to him quickly putting out a top four.
