Long snapper Roen McCullough no longer on Ohio State's football team

Long snapper Roen McCullough is no longer on Ohio State’s football team, Bucknuts has learned. McCullough opened camp as the Buckeyes’ No. 2 long snapper behind starter Bradley Robinson. McCullough was also Robinson’s backup in 2020. This leaves just two long snappers on Ohio State’s 2021 roster: Robinson and true freshman Max Lomonico. Robinson is a a sixth-year senior who transferred to OSU from Michigan State in 2017. The 6-foot-1, 230-pound McCullough is the younger brother of Liam McCullough, who was Ohio State’s No. 1 long snapper from 2016-19. Liam is now the long snapper for the Las Vegas Raiders. It is unclear if Roen McCullough will continue his football career elsewhere. Bucknuts will have more on this developing story. Want the latest scoops and news on the Buckeyes?
