Ohio State right tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere among first on team to reach endorsement deal

In one of the first announced name, image and likeness endorsements for college athletes, Ohio State right tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere has reached a deal with Flix CV, a technology startup based in Tampa, Florida. The agreement was revealed shortly after midnight on Thursday, the first day it became permissible under NCAA rules for players to make money off their NIL and work with third-party companies without forfeiting their eligibility. According to a news release from Dianna Paxton, the founder and chief executive of Flix CV, Petit-Frere will serve as a public spokesman for the company. Petit-Frere is a former highly ranked high school recruit from Tampa and attended Berkeley Preparatory School before enrolling at Ohio State in 2018.
