The Ohio State football team has long preached brotherhood, a word that has become a rather important part of the culture at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. But across the street at Value City Arena, brotherhood is just as important. When Thad Matta ran the program from 2004-17, former players would often be around the facility, be it at games or coming out to practice when they could make it or in the offseason of the professional leagues during the summer when they returned to Columbus to workout. When Chris Holtmann took over prior to the 2018 season, this open door policy did not change. This past week, the Buckeyes held what they are calling the first annual Ohio State Hoops Pro Week at the practice facility.
