COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football continues to load up on top cornerbacks in the 2022 recruiting class. Little Elm, Texas cornerback Terrance Brooks announced his commitment to the Buckeyes on Wednesday. He becomes the 15th commitment for 2022 and the fourth cornerback, joining Jaheim Singletary, Jyaire Brown and Ryan Turner. Brooks ranks No. 58 overall in the 247Sports national composite for the 2022 class, and No 8 among cornerbacks. Yet he only became a serious OSU target within the last month. Ohio State was not among the top five schools Brooks announced in April. He listed Texas A&M, Oregon, Texas, Florida and Alabama as his finalists. However, Ohio State needed other options when it became clear another top target, Toriano Pride, was headed to Clemson.
