The Texas to Ohio movement has stayed true throughout the 2022 class, most recently with four-star Terrance Brooks. The cornerback announced his commitment to the Buckeyes on Wednesday, making him the third top 15 player from the state of Texas to join their class. Quarterback Quinn Ewers and wide receiver Caleb Burton are also solid commits. They both rank in the top 10. Tom Herman can be blamed for the 1.000 rated quarterback on the composite, at least. Ewers was committed to Texas but rethought his decision after on and off-the-field issues. He may hurt the most. Burton never seemed interested in the Longhorns, committing to Ohio State around Thanksgiving.
