Ohio State rising sophomores Henry and Jackson Leverett, brothers from Bainbridge, Georgia, are heading to the Tokyo Olympics and will compete in the 25-meter rapid fire pistol event. Team USA is limited in the number of shooters it can bring to the summer games, but when the U.S. was able to secure another spot from the International Shooting Sport Federation, Henry — the younger sibling by 17 months — was chosen to fill it. Older brother, Jackson, was named to the team after qualifier Keith Sanderson was suspended for sexual misconduct. Henry has represented Team USA in a dozen international competitions. He is majoring in biology and ultimately hopes to attend medical school. Jackson haset four USA Shooting national records at the junior level of men’s rapid fire and sport pistol.
