Coronavirus in Ohio Sunday update: State to release latest COVID-19 numbers

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The Ohio Department of Health is scheduled to release the latest number of COVID-19 cases in the state.  As of Saturday, June 26, the ODH reported a total of 1,110,546 (+254) cases since the pandemic began, leading to 60,474 (+24) hospitalizations and 8,302 (+1) ICU admission. A total of 5,550,068 people — or 47.48% of the state’s population — has at least started the vaccination process, an increase of 9,555 from the previous day. ODH reported 68 deaths Friday, bringing the state total to 20,281. The state is updating the total number of deaths only after death certificates have been processed, usually twice a week.
