COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State football program is rather familiar with California recruits. One particular school has already produced two Buckeyes and could add more in coming years. St. John Bosco, located in Bellflower (16 miles south of Los Angeles) is the No. 3 high school football program in the country. Within the last four years, Ohio State secured standout offensive lineman Wyatt Davis and current safety Kourt Williams II from there. The relationship between St. John Bosco and Ohio State began during Urban Meyer’s tenure as head coach and has grown under Ryan Day. Last week, Ohio State’s three Bosco offerees — 2022 OL Earnest Greene, 2023 edge Matayo Uiagalelei and 2024 LB Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa — headlined a group of eight Braves who visited and camped at OSU over two days.
