Pate: Ohio State's biggest swing game is at Indiana

Ohio State has an interesting 2021 season coming this fall. Not only do the Buckeyes have high expectations, despite a number of key pieces from last year’s team that made it to the national championship game gone, but the 2021 slate isn’t as straight forward as it is in other years. The Scarlet and Gray open the new season on Thursday, Sept. 2 on the road in Big Ten play, traveling to Minnesota. The following week, Ohio State returns home for its first non-conference game, a big one as 2020 Pac-12 champions Oregon come to Ohio Stadium. Following those opening two weeks, the rest of the schedule plays out normally, with two more non-conference opponents before the conference season resumes.
