Ohio State 2020-21 college basketball season didn’t end the way the Buckeyes wanted, but that hopefully won’t take the shine off of what was the most productive year yet under Chris Holtmann as he looks to build the program back up into a legitimate national title contender. While the Scarlet and Gray flamed out in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the team has plenty to be proud of from the season. After going 18-9 in the regular season and 12-8 in conference play, Ohio State made an impressive run in the Big Ten Tournament to the championship game. While the Buckeyes fell 91-88 to Illinois in overtime in the final, it had the Buckeyes — who lost four consecutive games to end the regular season — feeling good to end the year.
