When the Buckeyes faced the Nittany Lions back in late January, they were a team still finding themselves while battling through injuries. OSU would lead by as many as 12 points in the first half before allowing Penn State to take an eight-point lead late into the second period. Ohio State stormed back and made some key free throws down the line to ice the game and give the Buckeyes an 83-79 victory in Value City Arena.
