COLUMBUS, OHIO — A Michigan quarterback won the Super Bowl a week ago, in a game in which no Ohio State Buckeyes participated. It was just the second time in the last 24 years that no Ohio State player was on the roster of a Super Bowl team, and it was the seventh time, as you know, that Tom Brady led a Super Bowl victory. Michigan has an edge on the Buckeyes there. No Ohio State quarterback has started for a Super Bowl champ, though Mike Tomczak and Joe Germaine both won rings as backups.
