The Buckeyes started a little slowly against Maryland on Monday night, but eventually found the mental and physical toughness they’ve been known for as of late, and turned back the Terrapins 73-65 in College Park. With the win, the OSU pulls to within just 1/2 game of first place Michigan with a 10-4 conference record. Ohio State runs its overall record to 16-4 in what continues to be an improbable and exhilarating run through a tough Big Ten schedule. Head coach Chris Holtmann met with the media after the win to discuss what he saw from his team and to convey some respect for the Maryland program.
