Michigan State football’s 2021 schedule was finalized in 2017. Now more than 40 months later, there are major changes. The Big Ten on Friday released revised 2021 football schedules for all conference teams. The opponents remain the same but there are date and location changes due to a pandemic-altered 2020 season. Michigan State already knew the location of games against Michigan and Indiana would change because those were among six games the conference shifted sites for in 2020. The conference in August announced locations for future games would be shifted and that will avoid the Spartans playing three straight games in Ann Arbor and hosting the Hoosiers three consecutive years.
