COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football seems willing to let the sting of a lopsided loss to Alabama in the national championship game linger a little bit. Only three weeks ago, Alabama clobbered the Buckeyes 52-24 while rolling up over 600 yards of offense. With that night punctuating a shortened season, OSU finished among the worst in the nation in passing yards allowed per game. “Obviously, we didn’t play our best game,” OSU defensive coordinator Kerry Coombs said Wednesday on The Ryan Day Show on 97.3 The Fan.
