Ohio State basketball drops out of Associated Press Top 25 Poll


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Following another 1-1 week Ohio State basketball has dropped out of the Associated Press Top 25 Poll for the first time this season. The Buckeyes once again followed up an impressive win during the week with a bad loss on the weekend in games against Nebraska and Minnesota. They are the only Big Ten team to fall out of the rankings this week, holding an 8-2 (2-3 Big Ten) record. Florida State has replaced them as the No. 25 team in the country. Despite dropping out Ohio State could see itself return next week a home game against Penn State and a rematch against No. 15 Rutgers. OSU beat the Scarlet Knights at home 80-68 on Dec. 23.
