COLUMBUS, Ohio — Four-star running back Dallan Hayden of Christian Brothers High School in Tennessee has put Ohio State football in his final four. The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder is the nation’s No. 252 overall player and the No. 25 running back, and was named Mr. Football in the state of Tennessee for Division II, Class AAA. He had 27 offers, but cut straight to the chase, revealing a top four list on New Year’s Day via Twitter. The Buckeyes accompany Notre Dame, Oregon and his home-state school Tennessee, where his father, Aaron, was a running back. Hayden told cleveland.com last month that the Buckeyes were already in his top three, citing a strong relationship with running back coach Tony Alford.
