COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State and Clemson combined for 52 points in their College Football Playoff semifinal at the Fiesta Bowl last season, but it could have been more. The Buckeyes left points on the field when they settled for field goals early. One came after J.K. Dobbins dropped a likely touchdown catch. Ohio State put up 517 yards but could not turn them into enough points in a 29-23 loss. As of Wednesday night, the consensus over-under at Vegas Insider for Friday’s Sugar Bowl rematch between Ohio State and Clemson is 66.5 points. Will these top-ten offenses surpass that expectation, or will the Buckeyes’ defense make a statement? Two members of cleveland.com’s Buckeye Talk crew are predicting the over.
