Ryan Day on Ohio State football’s Sugar Bowl roster: ‘The plane’s a bit more full than it was a week ago’


NEW ORLEANS — Ohio State football coach Ryan Day continues to avoid specifics, but he again hinted Thursday that the Buckeyes will have more players available Friday for the Sugar Bowl against Clemson. Ohio State played without 24 players in the Big Ten championship game victory over Northwestern on Dec. 18. Many of those players were out due to coronavirus testing protocols, though others were sidelined with injury.
