COLUMBUS, Ohio — Buckeye Grove will likely grow in population with a few new Ohio State football All-Americans in the coming weeks. Any Buckeye who receives All-American status from a reputable publication receives his own tree among the other great OSU players over the years. Right guard Wyatt Davis already did that with two selections last season. He fell one short of consensus All-America honors. To achieve that, players must appear on at least three of the following five lists: the American Football Coaches Association, the Associated Press, The Sporting News the Walter Camp Football Foundation and the Football Writers Association of America. Defensive end Chase Young and cornerback Jeff Okudah were both unanimous All-Americans in 2019.
