COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football will spend the next two months closing out the 2021 class while building on an already impressive 2022 collection. That success also means it’s time to turn some focus to 2023, where the Buckeyes have already started to identify targets. They’ve been ahead of the curve since Ryan Day took over as head coach, and it’s allowed them to have early success on the recruiting trail. Jack Sawyer jump-started the 2021 class in February 2019. That timeline suggests that the first 2023 commit could be coming in the next four months.
