COLUMBUS, Ohio — Based on massive preseason expectations, Wyatt Davis has not experienced the 2020 season many expected from the returning All-American. In the Big Ten Conference, however, the right guard’s performance in the league’s most dynamic and powerful offense held up. Davis was named the league’s Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year on Tuesday, ending a two-year drought of Buckeye winners for an award partially named for one of their greats. Orlando Pace himself was a two-time winner of the Big Ten’s Offensive Lineman of the Year — an award renamed for him and Nebraska’s Dave Rimington in 2011. Davis brings the award to OSU for the ninth time since it was first given out in 1984.
