The next priority was adding another interior defensive lineman to pair with Hall. In April, the Buckeyes had offered Manassas (Va.) Unity Reed’s Tyleik Williams. By that point, he had nearly 30 offers already with Alabama, LSU and more on that list. Penn State had offered first during his sophomore year. That was after a season where he had 13 sacks. As a freshman, Williams looked like a future standout linebacker, but then he added 60 pounds that off-season, retained his athleticism and became an no-brainer at defensive tackle. When Ohio State offered in April, defensive line coach Larry Johnson, who had once coached high school ball in Virginia, reached out.
