The Buckeyes’ pregame status report listed Borland out, along with offensive line starters Thayer Munford, Josh Myers and Nicholas Petit-Frere. Key reserves like safety Josh Proctor and defensive end Tyler Friday, who started the opener, also were unavailable against the Spartans.
