COLUMBUS, Ohio — Urban Meyer coached his last game when Ohio State football beat Washington in the Rose Bowl following the 2018 season. He’s carved out a successful career as a college football analyst highlighted by Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff pregame show on Saturdays. But the itch to coach again could always be there as long as the job made sense. That’s where Texas comes into play. The Longhorns have gone 30–18 — 21–13 in the Big 12 — and failed to keep the top talent in its state from going elsewhere.
