COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s hype video for Saturday’s game at Michigan State provided a sample of the week’s emotions, but not a glimpse behind the scenes. The Buckeyes practiced for a third consecutive day Thursday. Ohio State had to cancel last Saturday’s game at Illinois due to an increase in coronavirus cases and did not resume full team activities until Tuesday. If OSU plays Saturday, it would become the first Big Ten team to not need to cancel a second straight game after canceling one for COVID-19 issues. Fans no doubt hoped to gain additional clarity on what players might be affected by the program’s coronavirus cases. All of the scenes from the video, however, appeared to have been shot prior to or during the 42-35 victory over Indiana on Nov. 21. No scenes from the past week of practice were included.
