Emeka Egbuka and Tristan Leigh, Ohio State football 5-star targets, to visit Oklahoma: Buckeyes Recruiting Roundup


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two of Ohio State football’s remaining targets in its 2021 recruiting class are headed to Norman this weekend for Oklahoma’s game against Baylor. Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka of Steilacoom, Washington and Fairfax, Virginia offensive tackle Tristan Leigh will take a visit to Oklahoma this week, with 11 days remaining before the early signing period. Technically, the recruiting dead period that runs through April 15 prohibits schools from hosting official and unofficial visits. But recruits have found ways to exploit loopholes so they can make the best decision possible for their future. That’s resulted in player-led recruiting weekends such as the Buckeye Bash which OSU commit Jack Sawyer held on Oct. 24. It’s become the norm at Michigan, LSU and Oklahoma as well.
