With Michigan’s upcoming football game against Maryland canceled due to an uptick in COVID-19 tests within the program, all eyes now turn to next weekend. The Wolverines are set to travel to Columbus for a Dec. 12 game against Ohio State, the next-to-last game on an abbreviated schedule that could allow the Buckeyes to play for a Big Ten championship. Conference rules stipulate that teams must play a minimum of six games to be eligible for the Big Ten title game, set for Dec. 19 in Indianapolis. Ohio State is currently 4-0 and ranked No. 4 in the country, despite already having two games canceled due to the virus.
