What Quinn Ewers’ commitment means for Ohio State football: Buckeyes Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ryan Day made it clear that he wanted to turn the Ohio State football program into QB University. To do so, he would aggressively to add elite players in every class. His latest addition is 2022 prospect Quinn Ewers of Southlake Carroll (Texas) High School less than a month after he decommitted from Texas. Ewers is rated as the nation’s No. 2 player and No. 1 quarterback. He’s the eighth commitment to another class bidding for a record rating, perhaps outdoing the collection of talent in the 2021 class.
