Ohio State football, Indiana Outrageous Predictions: The Buckeyes’ secondary wreaks havoc on Michael Penix Jr.


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s secondary hasn’t had a breakout game yet, but a matchup with Indiana could provide one. Michael Penix Jr. has only thrown three-interception this season, and two came last week against Michigan State. But the Spartans don’t have a potential first-round NFL Draft pick and a former four-star recruit as their starting cornerbacks. Indiana will try to challenge the secondary who are still looking to quiet any questions people have about their ceiling. Penix Jr. is a quality player, but like most quarterbacks, he can become inaccurate when pressured. OSU’s managed defensive line has managed to do even if it doesn’t always end in a sack. Inaccurate throws and ill-timed passes can lead to interceptions as they did against Michigan State.
