The former Buckeyes quarterback suggested in a tweet Sunday afternoon that the conference is sending the Michigan Wolverines and Penn State Nittany Lions to the American Athletic Conference in exchange for the undefeated Cincinnati Bearcats. Jones was Ohio State’s starting quarterback in the 2014 Big Ten Championship Game and for the Buckeyes’ win against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, in addition to the 2015 season. Cincinnati head coach Luke Fickell was Ohio State’s co-defensive coordinator/linebackers coach at the time. Michigan, Ohio State’s archrival, fell to 1-3 this season with Saturday’s 49-11 loss to No. 13 Wisconsin.
