J’Kaylin “JK” Dobbins doesn’t get the notoriety of his Ravens backfield mate, quarterback Lamar Jackson, but the Baltimore rookie runner has started to show the talent that made him a high-upside second-round pick. Thanks in part to injuries, Dobbins has played a crucial role in recent weeks as the Ravens (6-2) prepare for a Sunday Night Football game against the Patriots (3-5). After seeing single-digit carries in his first six career games, Dobbins has seen a combined 27 in the past two weeks. That included 15 runs for 113 yards against the stout Steelers defense in Week 8, and while acknowledging that of course everything in Baltimore runs through Jackson, the rookie from Ohio State could be just beginning a big second half to his first NFL season.
